Local artist opens gallery on Beach

T.W. Curtis has opened T.W. Curtis Galleries, 400 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg. The gallery includes Curtis' own creations as well as art by 15 other artists. Curtis, who serves as president of the Downtown Arts Association, also owns T.W. Curtis Studio/Galleries on 16th Street N. He received his art education at Art Academy of Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati and has worked as an artist in Tampa Bay for more than 20 years. The business is open Wednesday through Sunday.

Dr. Amy Fine Anderson has opened an orthodontics office at 6600 10th Ave. N, St. Petersburg. Anderson was an orthodontist with Dr. Joseph C. Jackson, Largo.

Donna Williams has been named director of marketing for Lifestyle Family Fitness in St. Petersburg. Before joining Lifestyle, Williams served as senior account supervisor with Chenoweth & Faulkner Advertising, Tampa. The company has also announced the appointment of Dave Carney as vice president of club operations. Carney served as senior vice president of the Fitness Co. in Plantation.

Fred Schaaf has been named director of sales and marketing for Florida Medical Equipment Services, St. Petersburg. Before the appointment, Schaaf was territory manager for Laboratory Corp. of America, St. Petersburg.
