ITALIAN CAFE OPENS: PL's Italian Cafe & Pizzeria opened recently at 126 W Fletcher Ave. in the North Pointe Crossings Shopping Center. The restaurant offers New York-style pizza, build-your-own pasta and Italian specialty dishes. Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. For information, call 915-1101.
GAS STATION CLOSES: The Exxon gas station on North Boulevard at Fletcher Avenue has shut down its pumps.
