Withlacoochee still at flood stage

RIDGE MANOR -- A flood warning remains in effect for the Withlacoochee River in eastern Hernando County.
At Trilby, the river measured 13.3 feet Tuesday morning. When the river rises above 12 feet, neighborhoods including Talisman Estates and Riverdale start to flood. Forecasters predict the river will continue to recede slowly, although rain is expected Thursday night and Friday. Any additional water could cause the river to swell. The skies are expected to clear on Saturday.
