Copperfield

The last time illusionist David Copperfield came to the Tampa Bay area, he made Bucs fullback Mike Alstott disappear. Who knows what tricks Copperfield has in store this time?

The magician, known for making the Statue of Liberty disappear and levitating over the Grand Canyon, performs An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion at 3:30, 6 and 9 p.m. Saturday at Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, 777 N Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. $40-$55. Toll-free 1-800-826-9303.
