ARCHITECTURE

Cara D. Castle has been named an interior designer for Wedding, Stephenson & Ibarguen Architects Inc., St. Petersburg. Castle was an interior designer for CBB Architects, St. Petersburg.

John R. Wagner has been named a partner at Davis Bews Design Group Inc., Oldsmar. Wagner is vice president for Davis Bews Design Group.

BANKS

Stephen P. Fluharty has been named senior vice president for the Bank of Tampa. Fluharty was vice president and office executive of the Sunset Park branch in South Tampa.

CONSTRUCTION

Beazer Homes, Tampa, announced these promotions: Robert June, to director of construction; and Dave Hennessey, to director of purchasing. June was a senior project manager; Hennessey was purchasing manager.

HEALTH CARE

All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg, announced the following officers for the health system board. Joseph W. Fleece Jr., chairman; Teresa D. Shelton, vice chairwoman; Robert C. Decker, secretary; and Steven D. Carlisle, treasurer. New board members are: Sandra Diamond and Jack W. Kirkland Jr. Fleece is a lawyer with Holland & Knight, St. Petersburg; Shelton retired as vice president/director of marketing for Northern Trust Bank, St. Petersburg; Decker is a partner at the law firm of Decker, Beeler, PA, St. Petersburg; Carlisle is president of Tri-Citi Automotive, Clearwater; Diamond is a lawyer with Williamson, Diamond & Caton, PA, Seminole; and Kirkland is a partner at the accounting firm of Kirkland, Murphy & Tapp, Clearwater.

Dawn Goodpaster has been named the area representative of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants for Citrus and Hernando Counties. Goodpaster practices internal and family medicine in Inglis and Dunnellon for Dr. R. Bellam and Dr. U. Deven.

HOSPITALITY

Monica Piecuch has been promoted to sales and service coordinator for the Residence Inn by Marriott Tampa Westshore for McKibbon Hotel Management Inc., Tampa. Piecuch was the sales and service coordinator and front desk associate with Residence Inn, Tampa.

LEGAL

Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick LLP, Tampa, announced that Darrell C. Smith has been elected managing partner for the Tampa office and that Ernest J. Marquart has been elected to the firm's national management committee. Smith was senior partner and practices in the areas of corporate, securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions with an emphasis on public company representation, and is a member of the firm's national management committee; Marquart is a partner in the firm's litigation practice group, focusing on business and commercial litigation.

Ronald A. Christaldi has been named to the board of directors for CreativeTampaBay Inc., a nonprofit economic development dedicated to attracting and maintaining creative workers in the Tampa Bay area. Christaldi is a shareholder and practices in the areas of business law and transactions with a focus on corporate health care and real estate for the law firm of de la Parte & Gilbert, Tampa.

The Child Abuse Council Inc., Tampa, announced its executive committee and new members of its board of directors.
