Methodist ministers shuffled

This is the month that United Methodist ministers begin their new appointments. Locally, pastors began their new jobs Tuesday. They are as follows:

The Rev. Herb Angel, to Palm Harbor United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Doug Swan, to Shady Hills United Methodist Church, Pasco County, from Tampa.

The Rev. Debbie Allen, to Faith United Methodist Church, Hudson, from Fort Myers.

The Rev. Bill Owens, to Palm Harbor United Methodist Church, from Leesburg.

The Rev. Richard Jones, to Friendship United Methodist Church, Clearwater, from Lealman.

The Rev. William Oakley, to First United Methodist Church of Pinellas Park, from Sarasota.

The Rev. Eric McCrea, to both Calvary United Methodist Church, Largo, and First United Methodist Church of Largo.

The Rev. Dan Campbell, to associate pastor, Pasadena Community Church, St. Petersburg, from Largo.

The Rev. Brian MacHarg, to director of service ministry at Eckerd College.

The Rev. Dan Lehman, to Lealman United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Sidney Tompkins, deacon, appointed to Pasadena Community Church.
