Teen hurt in shark attack transferred to Tennessee

NASHVILLE - A Tennessee teenager seriously injured in a shark attack in Florida was transferred Thursday to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt University.

Craig Hutto, 16, was attacked off Cape San Blas in the Gulf of Mexico June 27. His right leg had to be amputated at Bay Medical Center in Panama City.

Hutto's condition was stable, officials said.
