Trip to the fruit stand.
This is the best time of the year for peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, pluots and such, not to mention berries. The dullest kitchen ought to be able to make a peachy dessert out of them. I'd love a cobbler but all you really need is yogurt, ice cream or a splash of dessert wine.
