Hartley, Chatman are on West squadBy GREG AUMAN, BRANT JAMES © St. Petersburg Times, published May 15, 2001 Hernando senior pitcher Chrissy Hartley will represent the county Friday as part of the West team in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Softball All-Star Classic. Leopards coach Ernie Chatman will be guiding the West after serving as an assistant on last year's squad, which included Hernando's Katye Altieri and Beth Chatman. Hartley, who finished with a 22-3 record and .460 batting average, is among several local stars on the West roster. Other notables include Land O'Lakes pitcher Ashley Patton, East Bay pitcher Mandy Schuerman and Sarasota Cardinal Mooney pitcher Nicole Motycka, who lost in the Class 3A state title game to Miami Gulliver Prep. Gulliver, which won its second championship in four years Friday, has two players on the south all-star team -- outfielders Jania Shinhoster and Jaclyn Wilkins. FIVE LEOPARDS AMONG STARS: Hernando seniors Dee Brown, Drew Innes, Stephen Blanton, Jason Dunn and J.T.
