Quartet -- The DaPonte String Quartet plays an all-Beethoven program Jan. 2 at Eckerd College. $10 and $15.
Halim -- On Jan. 5-7, pianist Eduardis Halim is the soloist in works of Liszt and Shostakovich with the Florida Orchestra. $20-$38.
Miller -- That Championship Season by Jason Miller opens Jan. 5 in a Stageworks production at Hillsborough Community College in Ybor City. $7-$14.
Jones -- Uncle Bends -- A Home-cooked Negro Narrative, a one-man show by Bob Devin Jones, is performed Jan. 13 at Eckerd College as part of WordBRIDGE. $15.
